He loves being up there…but detests the trip.
Before we even pull out of the driveway, he’s sitting in his travel carrier…drool dripping down his chin…looking at us as if to say “You know what’s coming next, don’t you?” (which would be the emptying of stomach contents – usually between the Indian River Reptile Zoo and Norwood). The final leg of our trek to the lake involves a dirt road, upon which we can count on rolling down the windows, as he does an evacuation out the other end of his body.
I’ve always thought that he just hates the way I drive. But it’s recently come to my attention that some cats actually don’t mind travelling in a vehicle – – some even purring or sleeping during the journey.
Really? How can I make this happen??!!
