Here are five ways to show solidarity with the people of Paris, France, after the devastating terror attacks of Friday Nov. 13:
Have a Parisian dinner party. Celebrate the good.
Lower your Canadian flag to half-staff. If you have one, fly a French flag just beneath it.
Use blue, red and white, the colours of the French flag, in your next workplace pot-luck.
Place a small French flag on your desk at work. You can even made a small one of paper and colour it in.
If you’re putting up holiday lights, buy red, blue and white bulbs.
And, our favourite, host a French Cookie Exchange: Invite friends to swap French cookies and their recipes; you can find lots of choices here.
