I don’t know about you folks, but I haven’t made a New Year’s Resolution in years now. You hear so many stories of people sticking to their resolutions for a couple weeks or months and then just kinda… stopping. It could be anything – planning to work out more, or to quit smoking, or to spend more time volunteering, or whatever.
I know myself well enough to know that, much like other people, I’m probably not going to be able to maintain (or at least feel like I’m maintaining) such a plan. So to avoid disappointment or guilt, I just haven’t bothered making a resolution.
The topic was covered in a sketch from the first episode of W/ Bob & David, an excellent new Netflix-original sketch comedy series.
I’ve come across a few options for fairly attainable goals for the new year for folks who want to commit to something, but don’t want to commit TOO hard.
So many great options in there. “Something Something Save Money.” Couldn’t you see yourself doing that? Or how about “Take a walk every day. Or at least briefly consider it.” That’s my kind of resolution!
If you really enjoy TV, however, Netflix has a few options for you to consider, and they’re conveniently contained in these handy little social media-ready photos:

You know, there’s probably enough options there to last you until this time next year… So until then, have a happy, safe and lazy new year!
