It’s a secret that’s been kept locked away for almost 15 years; but actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler (aka daughter “Meadow Soprano”) says she’s ready to live her truth.
She just married pro baseball player Cutter Dykstra this past Saturday . They have a 2-year-old son, Beau.
But all is not perfect in her life. Jamie Lynn has just opened up to People magazine about her battle with multiple sclerosis, which she was diagnosed with at 20.
It’s been tough for her. She says “I wasn’t ready to reveal the illness until now. You’d think that after all these years, somebody would be settled with something like this, but it’s still hard to accept.”
Initially, Jamie-Lynn went symptom-free “for quite some time…but MS reared its ugly headover the last decade”. She says she can’t walk for a long period of time without resting. Cannot run. “No superhero roles for me”, she tells People magazine.
I was a “sopranos” superfan (LOVED the show). I now have a new-found respect for Jamie-Lynn Sigler – – a courageous fighter, who will now become a face and voice for this debilitating disease.
