A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a young Syrian refugee who now calls Peterborough home. It happened as I was walking into Puppy Obedience School with my dog. Although Sarah still struggles to understand every English word she hears, she was curious about my furry companion…and we started a conversation.
