Every so often, a fashion trend comes along that really gets people talking. Crocs would definitely be one of those trends.
Some people hate ‘em….others love ‘em.
Here’s where I make a confession: I wear Crocs. At the cottage..in the water. And they’re “sorta” manly.
But Megan Leahy (a podiatrist with the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute) told Huffington Post that since Crocs don’t properly secure the heel, that can lead to tendinitis, toe deformities, nail problems, corns and calluses.
She did add that that same thing can happen with flip flops or any backless shoes as the heel is not secured.
