It’s hard to tell from that grainy video screenshot above, but that’s Justin Bieber taking a mighty tumble at his show in Saskatoon last night.
Bieber is certainly no stranger to hitting the dirt while on stage. We’ll get to that in a minute, but first the scene from last night’s concert.
And here it is from a couple different angles, with slow-mo replays and everything!
There’s a clip in there where you hear a woman say “He needs some milk!” When I heard that, I thought “What the hell does that mean?” Then someone on Reddit pointed out that the audio was lifted from another ridiculous video… Which left me even more confused!
So how did he fall through the middle of the stage? As this video explains, it appears he fell through one of the holes in the stage that he occasionally appears through:
It actually reminds me a lot of that time Paul McCartney fell into the hole in the stage where his piano was emerging…
You may remember it was just a couple months ago that Bieber took a pretty good header mid-song during a show in Kansas City.
The stage isn’t the only place Bieber has been known to fall, however. Back in late 2014, Bieber was in New York City and decided to show off his skateboarding skills for a group of Beliebers, and well…
I will say this about the kid, he perseveres until he gets what he wants.
However, in going through all these videos of Bieber falling, I can’t help but remember that time he was pelted in the head by what looked at first like a water bottle thrown with incredible aim by a fan. As it turns out, it was a bag of Sour Patch Kids – his favourite candy – and a T-shirt in some wrapping paper. The reaction is just pure gold though.
Say what you will about the Biebs, but he’s always quick to pick himself right back up… No matter how silly he looks.
