Everyone likes to party now and then, right? I mean, sure, we all have responsibilities to take care of, but that’s what makes it so nice to be able to occasionally kick back and let loose with some friends. There’s a few ways to do this. You could go the totally mature adult way and invite all your friends over for a big dinner party and drink only the finest wines and get drunk in a controlled manner. Or you could throw a college-style party, complete with a keg, KY wrestling, and some dude with an acoustic guitar who’s actually terrible at guitar.
I mean, I’m sure there are happy mediums in between – those are just two extreme examples. If you’re into playing games, though, the latter is probably the type of party you want to go to, because drinking games always seem to break out.
REMINDER: If you’re under the age of 19, it’s illegal for you to consume alcohol. You can still play the games with non-alcoholic beverages, but this post is in no way meant to condone or support underage drinking.
What kind of drinking games, you ask? Well I can’t remember a big party I’ve been to recently where a game of Beer Pong didn’t break out.
And who could forget King’s Cup? Well, I mean, I kinda wish I could forget some of the nights I spent playing it. The fun part of the game is relearning it every time you play it, though, since literally everyone has a different interpretation of the rules.
And since you won’t be driving anyway, it’s a perfect time to Ride The Bus.
All these games are bound to loosen you up within your crowd, and that’s always good when you’re around a group of strangers. There’s one game that’s always a particularly good icebreaker though, since it requires the players to get so up close and personal: Twister.
Typically there’s no drinking involved, but Jimmy Fallon and the crew at The Tonight Show have put their own twist on the classic game, and turned it into Jello Shot Twister.
Last night, Fallon and Kristen Stewart gave it a shot, and the results were pretty entertaining. Watch:
The one catch if you’re going to feature this at your next party is the fact that you’ll also then be responsible for making a bunch of jello shots, because I get the impression most of your friends are going to want to play. I mean… If it makes Kristen Stewart smile, it MUST be fun!
