In the U.S., high school football is HUGE. (Think “Friday Night Lights”, right?)
It was more like “Friday Night Tears” recently at at Foothill High School in Palo Cedro, (California) when a high school football team heard that one of their cheerleaders was diagnosed with leukemia.
As each player went onto the field for the game, they dropped a rose at her feet – orange, the color of leukemia awareness.
Ashley Adamietz was speechless…as player after player presented her with a rose. Beautiful…
