Mara Wilson may not be a household name. But in the late 80’s and early 90’s, her face brightened up the screen in “Mrs. Doubtfire”, “Matilda” and “Miracle On 34th Street.”
She’s now 29, and has written a book about her experience as a child actress, “Where Am I Now?” In it, she paints a picture of the reality of having all that fame at such a young age…and how Hollywood treats child stars.
While we may have dreamed of being that famous when we were young, Mara says “Being cute just made me miserable”.
