“La La Land” swept the Golden Globes with the Award for best comedy or musical film, and its stars, Canadian Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, won best actor and actress honours.
But it’s Meryl Streep that everyone is talking about this morning. She used her lifetime achievement award speech to take aim at Donald Trump and what she called once of the worst performances of the past year.
The President Elect was quick to respond with an early morning twitter rant.
