Being comfortable on a long airline flight can be a real struggle. The space between seats has been shrinking…and 3 peanuts in a bag hardly fills your stomach.
But dressing comfortably is something you can control to make your flying experience somewhat enjoyable.
But, two teens were told they couldn’t board a United Airlines flight this weekend because of the leggings they were wearing. Yes…leggings.
What makes the story complicated is that these 2 young girls were family members of United Airline employees, flying on a United Employee Pass. The company felt their attire didn’t meet the standards of their dress code. But, the question still remains – – regardless of their relationship to a United Airlines employee – – “Are leggings inappropriate attire for air travel”?
They were told they would either have to change into something else, or put a dress on to cover up the top half of the spandex pants.
