Peterborough’s Faith Dickinson has had to keep a huge secret recently.
Earlier this week, her mom (Carrie) posted a picture of the family (Faith, Carrie and dad Mike) on a plane headed for the UK. We now know the whole story.
Faith Dickinson had an appointment at St. James Palace today, joining 19 other young people from Britain and around the world, to be celebrated by Prince William and Prince Harry with a special Legacy Award. The honors were set up by the Diana Award Charity in the name of their late mother, Princess Diana. She is the only Canadian to be given this award.
Faith’s Cuddles for Cancer initiative has resulted in the creation of over 3500 blankets for people receiving cancer treatments. Cuddles For Cancer will mark its 5th anniversary on Canada Day – the day that would have been Diana’s 56th birthday.
