You can say two things about the Blue Jays mascots (past and present) – – BJ Birdy, Ace and Diamond are lovable. And “decent”.
The New York Mets are apologizing for the “obscene gesture” directed at a fan by their mascot, Mr Met. New York’s mascot flashed a fuzzy “middle finger” at a fan during last night’s 7-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.
Someone tweeted video of the incident, and it quickly went viral online. Mets’ officials have not said who was in the costume at the time, but say that person “will no longer be on their rotating cast”.
Strrrrrr -ike!….and you’re out, Mr Met. (Although, you have to have to kinda laugh It must’ve been somewhat “satisfying” for whoever it was that flipped the bird on a fan that was getting under their skin – – with the anonymity of a mascot uniform!!)
Ummm. Does the Lakers mascot (Leo the Lion) have a middle finger? A middle claw?? The Lakers’ home opener happens tonight! Go Lakers!
