A blank wall facing the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Peterborough will be transformed next month.
“The proposal the Chrissy put forward was hands-down the most attractive to the location in terms of her consideration of the community, Chrissy really rose above what was a really strong group of applications to this project,” said Artspace director Jonathan Lockyer.
The property is owned by Ashburnham Realty and occupied by Artspace.
The City of Peterborough’s public art initiative is intended to generate continued interest in and awareness of public art in the downtown core. The mural will be the third to be installed. The others are painted under the arches of the Hunter Street Bridge.
