An 84 year-old woman from Camrose (Alberta) is super thrilled – – because the diamond engagement ring she lost while weeding her garden 13 years ago has literally sprung up.
Mary Grams says she never told her husband, who died five years ago, that she’d lost the ring, but did tell her son. It was her son’s wife who found it – – while harvesting carrots at the family farm where Mary used to live.
The carrot actually grew through and around the diamond ring. A 24-karat carrot!
